An expert medical reviewer for, Dr. James Pingpank specializes in the treatment of malignant peritoneal mesothelioma, as well as other abdominal malignancies. Currently, Dr. Pingpank serves as a surgical oncologist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Dr. Pingpank earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. From there, he went on to complete a fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center and another at the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center. Before coming to UPMC, Dr. Pingpank served as the Head of Surgical Metabolism at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Maryland.
